  Very few builders will put this much base in a driveway.
  This is a good example of rain "run-off" staying near the house.
  A few inches of conrete poured in a ditch doth not a footing make. There is only enough concrete here to hold the rebar up. A few lots from here there were "skilled, imported" laborers in boots laying block in the water.
  An example of popped plates while trusses are still on the ground. The weathered color tells you that they probably have been laying there for months.
  Even painted zinc plating will not stop the eventual rusting of non-brass hinges in humid or salt atmospheres.
